Partially update contact

PATCH

/contacts/{contactId}

Updates an existing contact identified by its Incomaker contactId. Unlike PUT /contacts/{contactId}, only the fields present in the request body are changed — any field omitted from the body is left untouched. Returns 404 if the contact does not exist — use Upsert if you need create-or-update semantics.

To explicitly clear a field, send it with an explicit null value; simply omitting it has no effect.

Array fields (tags, lists/listIds, fields) are replaced as a whole when included: sending one of these replaces the entire existing set with the submitted one. Omit the array entirely to leave it untouched.
